Rashad ended his seven-year Vikings career in 1982. A member of the college football Hall of Fame from his playing days at Oregon, Rashad was known as Bobby Moore before his conversion to Islam in 1972. Rashad, a four-time Pro Bowl selectee, came to the Vikings in a trade with Seattle for longtime and former Dunker "Benchwarmer" Bob Lurtstema, who often refers to that deal as the worst trade in Vikings history.
