DAVE HILL

Game 386 | June 19, 1990 | Dave Hill
It was Hill who had been so critical of Hazeltine National Golf Club when the club hosted the 1970 U.S. National, won by Tony Jacklin. With the 1991 Open coming back to Hazeltine, Hill was invited back for Media Day. He joked about his observation that all the course was lacking was "80 acres of corn and a few cows," and said that Hazeltine had matured nicely over the past 20 years.
