Klecker, who burst onto the local running scene as Janis Horns in 1979, had won the U.S. Olympic trials in the marathon and finished 21st in Barcelona. Rothlisberger, son of the Gopher gymnastics coach, was the National All-Round Champion in 1990, 1992, 1993 and 1995. A member of the 1992 Olympic team, he would go on to finish seventh in the All-Around at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Kosloski won a silver medal in 1992 in Greco-Roman wrestling.
