Game 846 | June 19, 2015 | Mike Zimmer
Zimmer became the ninth head coach in Vikings history when he succeeded Leslie Frazier before the start of the 2014 season. A 20-year NFL assistant at Dallas, Atlanta and Cincinnati, Zimmer said he looked for improvement in 2015 from his first-year team which finished 7-9 without suspended running back Adrian Peterson.

Game 864 | June 17, 2016 | Mike Zimmer
Entering his third season as head coach of the Vikings, Zimmer said he was looking forward to improving upon the team's 11-5 record of the year before. Despite serious injuries to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, running back Adrian Peterson and most of the offensive line, the Vikings got off to 5-0 start and sports pundits were starting to talk about a Super Bowl. Things went south after that, and the team finished out of the playoffs with an 8-8 record while Coach Zimmer dealt with serious eye issues.

Game 882 | June 16, 2017 | Mike Zimmer
The Vikings head coach talked about a nagging series of eye surgeries that had marked the off-season since his 2016 team finished 8-8. He focused on some roster decisions including parting ways with future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson. He said he had confidence that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater would play again some day, but that he was comfortable heading into the season with Sam Bradford and the newly acquired backup Case Keenum.

Game 914 | June 7, 2019 | Mike Zimmer
Coach Zimmer was introduced by Kevin Warren just days after Warren had been selected to be the next Big Ten Commissioner. Zimmer joked that Minneapolis had a lot of work to do to get its streets ready for the Super Bowl parade. He said a highlight of the off-season was the hiring of NFL veteran coach Gary Kubiak to work as a mentor to new offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski. (At the end of season Stefanski was hired as head coach of the Cleveland Browns and Kubiak was elevated to Offensive Coordinator.) Zimmer said two players who were poised for breakout seasons were defensive end Danielle Hunter and running back Dalvin Cook.
